Job Description

We are seeking to secure a strong Sales/Business Development Manager currently working within the SaaS / Software industry ideally from an ESP, Loyalty or Marketing.

As a Business Development Manager, you will promote and sell our client's Email Builder SaaS Platform, create long-term and profitable customer sales relationships, new account acquisition, client retention and achieve financial growth. Besides that, you will be responsible for executing the business sales strategy with the overall goal to drive and achieve commercial targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an up and coming technology piece and to excel within a business with your seniority and proven track record of selling.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and achieving sales budgets and targets
  • Responsible for trade marketing budget and management of costs within the budget
  • Identify, develop and lead the execution of my client's sales strategy and ensure alignment across the business strategic goals
  • Collaborate with the Directors on annual business planning and budgeting
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients and personally oversee all designated key account development
  • Proactively hunt new business, conduct cold calls and generate leads to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet commercial targets
  • Develop sales presentations for client pitches and documents that assist in new business conversations and presentations
  • Collaborate with the Directors to develop client proposals and subscription quotations
  • Responsible for new/renewal of subscription negotiations, closing deals and preparation of Term Sheet for presentation to the Directors for approval

Requirements

  • Demonstrated solution-selling sales background
  • Minimum 5 years experience selling SaaS or Software
  • Proven record of generating sales, business development and client relationship management
  • A track record of success in meeting and exceeded targets
  • Experience using CRM system
  • An ability to identify opportunity and cross sell solutions
  • A consultative style with an ability to present well at senior levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships
  • Strong business awareness, with logical thinking and analytical ability
  • High energy and self-motivated
