Job Description

FreakOut is currently on the lookout for a highly motivated Sales Manager with a main mission to drive our Digital Advertising Sales in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur!

In this individual contributor role, you will work collaboratively with our leadership to define, develop & manage relationships with agencies, direct clients & other key decision makers in the digital advertising ecosystem. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales, Malaysia.


  • Actively define & develop opportunities through outreach strategies from your existing network, referrals & new leads for our digital advertising solutions (Native, Video & Programmatic Advertising) by a consultative approach
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Drive business planning to define sales strategies & achieve revenue growth target
  • Research & understand market trends & new business opportunities for incremental revenue growth
  • Establish executable strategies for sales pipeline development that supports the sales objectives
  • Communicate client expectations and work collaboratively with our internal technical/ operational teams to deliver successful campaigns


  • Have 2- 3+ years of experience with pitching Native, Video and programmatic advertising solutions to direct clients as well as agencies
  • Possess an entrepreneur mindset & will thrive in a small but fast, moving, start-up environment
  • Draw energy from interacting with others, developing relationships with existing & new clients
  • Possess a proven strong track record of over-achieving revenue, profit margin targets
  • Should have an in-depth understanding of the agencies, advertisers, data, vendor landscapes and trends
  • Preferably completed a Bachelor’s in Marketing/Communications
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Are team player & collaborator
  • Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills
