Job Description

The Business Development (BD) Officer conducts BD activities in designated high-value markets (Jewelry) to achieve profitable growth and meet the revenue and income objectives. He/She expands BD opportunities by identifying customer needs, developing high-value solutions for customers, obtaining customer commitment, and successfully implementing financial solutions. This position monitors and maintains account relationships to ensure integration of new business and continued customer satisfaction.

The Business Development Officer researches opportunities through lead database and data mining of UPS and other accounts to identify leads. He/She conducts sales visits to prospective customers to present our value proposition as it relates to their company and needs. This position participates in continuing education and training to maintain skills and certifications. The BD Officer participates in information sharing within us and our Sales groups to achieve results and improve sales strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales target by growing at all sized customer segment
  • Identify sales opportunities, conduct sales calls and customer visits within the assigned territory
  • Generate sales volume and revenue through conversion, retention, and penetration
  • Handled assigned portfolio of accounts with monthly revenue
  • Address customer issues & concerns

Qualification

  • Thai Nationality
  • Age 23-35
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s Degree
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Thai), spoken and written (Require minimum TOEIC 600)
  • Proficiency in software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Knowledge of local and/or international customs regulations and documentation (Preferable)
  • Excellent customer relations management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as communication skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales/similar capacity
  • Experience in Insurance Business and logistics background- Couriers, Freight Forwarding industry (Preferable)
